Kenneth L. Wright, Jr. came out on top on ABC’s new television show Funderdome, hosted by Steve Harvey. The show features two startups pitching their products to an audience of regular consumers, nicknamed “The Dome.” Members of audience vote for their favorite product, solely deciding the winner of $10,000, $20,000, $50,000, or $100,000 for their product.
Wright presented his product KleanCollar, a men’s apparel accessory that prevents the dreaded and unsightly “dirt ring” that commonly appears around the inside of collars on shirts. The product is made from medical grade silicone, making KleanCollar reusable, eco-friendly, and undetectable under clothing. Wright is a 2010 graduate from J. Mack Robinson College of Business, dual-majoring in Marketing and Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship.
