On February 22nd, 22 teams representing eight universities across the state of Georgia shared the stage at Georgia State University Buckhead Center to pitch in TiE Atlanta’s TYE University Qualifying Round. This year, 34 teams applied for a chance to participate in the competition.
Of the 22 teams selected, 14 were Georgia State teams: Aurign, Challenge, EcoDrop Technologies, Invenovate, KemNu, Meet & Innovate LLC, MeLoan, N.E.W. x ELI, Nspire, NVRBEENSTANDARD, Observe, OshunPay, Students Expressing Life through Fashion (SELF) and Throwback.
Nine teams advanced to the TYE-U Finals representing Emory University, the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University and University of Georgia. Georgia State will be represented by Aurign, EcoDrop Technologies and OshunPay. TYE-U Finals will be held on April 18.
