Invest Atlanta has released their top picks for their Women Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) 2020 Cohort. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) is proud to recognize two Georgia State alumni who made the list. They are talented businesswomen with a strong dedication to their entrepreneurial ventures while making a difference in the City of Atlanta.
The women chosen to be a part of this cohort will have the opportunity to participate in a 15-month entrepreneurial and business program, as well as access to a co-working space in the historic Flatiron Building, located in downtown Atlanta.
First to be acknowledged is Quyionah Wingfield (B.A. ’18), the Founder and CEO of Cool Moms Dance Too. This mommy and me program that focuses on encouraging fitness and wellness importance of physical activity and hopes to instill healthy habits.
Next, Sarah Lindley Marske (M.A. ’08) is the Founder and CEO of Saramar, LLC DBA Saramar Group. This consulting firm is breaking boundaries by helping brands connect to U.S. Hispanic audiences through purpose-driven marketing solutions.
Saramar Group works directly with brands, companies and organizations to provide culturally relevant and socially impactful strategies, initiatives and programs targeting U.S. Hispanic audiences.
Marske remarks: “I’m thrilled for Saramar Group to be selected as part of the City of Atlanta’s Women Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) 2020 cohort. It’s an incredible opportunity grow our business and fulfill our purpose to connect brands with U.S. Hispanic audiences through solutions that accelerate business growth while creating social impact. I’m thankful to have achieved my master’s degree in communications and a certificate in Spanish translation from Georgia State, skills that continue to propel me forward in my career and journey as an entrepreneur.”
