We Introduced Benjamin R. Moore III to you back in February 2019. At that time, he displayed true passion for education through linguistics as a motivating factor in his life. As a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Education here at Georgia State majoring in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Language and Literacy, he holds a B.A. in Applied Linguistics (‘14) with minors in English (concentrating his coursework on creative writing) and African-American Studies. He followed that with an M.A. in Applied Linguistics (’16). Obviously, future Dr. Moore knows a thing or two about the art of language.
Bringing it all to Life
Benjamin’s desire to make learning fun and entertaining has led him to his life’s work – Keyz 2 the Lexus (K2thaL).
K2thaL is an innovative and comprehensive linguistics language arts learning system that uses performing arts, particularly, music, dance, lyricism, and theater as strategies to teach Pre-K through 8th grade students all about the field of Linguistics, which is the science of language.
In order to take his life works into the digital realm, Benjamin has kicked off a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds and move the comprehensive e-learning platform to the next level of production. His goal is to take the sessions he has developed over the past decade and produce a digital content series on a membership-based, e-learning platform.
