Congratulations to Georgia State’s Nicole Toole for placing 2nd in WBENC’s national competition as a 2021 Collegiate Women of Color Grant Winner. She has won a $7,000 non-dilutive funding grant for her business, Conserve Innovations, LLC. As a Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund cohort 1 participant, WomenLead and Digital Learners to Leaders student, we are delighted to share this news.
The WBENC’s national competition is hosted to support emerging minority female entrepreneurs with innovative companies focused in the area of STEM and sustainability. Minority female business owners often experience greater difficulties in securing access to capital and receiving funding to grow their businesses. WBENC and Cummins Inc. are working to address this disparity with the WBENC 2021 Collegiate Women of Color Grant.
