What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
A way of life that includes sacrifice, time, and a lot of brain power that can provide an unlimited lifestyle.
What advice can you offer to entrepreneurs?
Make sure you are passionate about entrepreneurship because if you are not, it will show.
What role has Atlanta played in your entrepreneurial journey?
Atlanta is one of the most popular cities for start-up entrepreneurs in the US. The number of new companies in Atlanta has provided a significant amount of opportunities to showcase my company skillset and has allowed us to bloom into a fast-growing financial service company.
How has your formal education/experiences at Georgia State played a role in your becoming an entrepreneur?
My experience at Georgia State both at the undergrad and graduate levels has allowed me to explore and not limit myself, which are key attributes one must experience when becoming an entrepreneur. Being challenged at Georgia State gave me the confidence I needed to create Xnalysis. My degrees in Accounting and Finance provided me with the necessary skill set to learn the ins and out of financial literacy and transfer that knowledge to help my clients create a better financial life.
How has Georgia State supported you in your entrepreneurial journey?
The biggest thing Georgia State has contributed to my entrepreneurial journey is providing me with an abundance of mentors. My mentors have helped me make key decisions that have allowed me to grow, and become successful in a short period of time. In addition, Georgia State has also taught me key business skills that I use on a daily basis which allow me to be my best self for my business and my clients. The knowledge that I have been afforded due to Georgia State is priceless.
