Mitun (Srabanti) Chaudhuri

Mitun (Srabanti) Chaudhuri is the Founder & Owner of Maka Maka Lifestyle, LLC., a Sustainable and Artisanal Home & Fashion brand based in Atlanta, GA. Maka Maka’s vision is to create sustainable, eco-conscious, fair trade and innovative collections. Mitun has an MBA in E-Commerce from Georgia State University and a BBA (MIS) from the University of Georgia. She was a proud recipient of the unique Georgia Rotary Student Program Scholarship (GRSP) to study in the USA as an undergraduate student. Mitun has extensive International operational and entrepreneurial experience as she has run Maka Maka in Canada, India and currently, in the USA. In addition to being at the helm of Maka Maka, she’s also a Part-Time Instructor at Georgia State University’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute.

An explorer at heart, Mitun traveled around the world and across North America. Maka Maka’s collection is inspired by her travels and collaborations forged with global Artisans. Maka Maka also collaborates with Atlanta based independent Seamstresses from the underserved communities to create our Sustainable and Slow Fashion and Accessories collection. Supporting the livelihood of Women Artisans/Talents, locally and globally, is a principal area of focus for Maka Maka.
