The 2020 Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers conference brought together the largest number of attendees in the annual event’s 24-year history to award 17 university entrepreneurship programs top honors. The annual conference has become the premier gathering of the world’s leading minds in university-based entrepreneurship. This year’s conference was virtual for the first time. The Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) has announced that the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) at Georgia State University has won the 2020 Award for Excellence in Specialty Entrepreneurship Education. The award was presented virtually at the GCEC annual conference on October 30.

MSESF Fund 2020 Graduate Wins a 6-Month Well Deserved Membership at Atlanta Tech Village

On June 4th, It Takes A Village Pre-Accelerator Program hosted Cohort 5 Graduation and Demo Day. This cohort is special because they had a “new normal” aspect of their experience. In response to COVID-19, the program was virtual for three months. Although the pre-accelerator was conducted remotely, participants worked hard to finalize their innovative products and pitches.
