The associate director of the H.J. Russell Center for Entrepreneurship, Dr. Isabelle Monlouis participated in Hillsborough Community College’s 9th Annual Veterans Entrepreneurship Training Symposium. Along with her (virtually) was a current student, Michael Lopez Rios from her ENI 3103 course. Georgia State University’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) has announced follow-on funding for select Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund (MSESF) alumni companies. Seven companies from Main Street’s inaugural cohort (Cohort 1), which graduated from the business accelerator program in 2020, will be receiving an additional grant to use in scaling their ventures. Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, the semi-annual Georgia University Entrepreneurship Initiative (GUEI) was hosted virtually on April 22, 2020. A committee consisting of educators, administrators and entrepreneurial ecosystem builders representing Georgia State University, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Morehouse University, University of Georgia, Startup Atlanta, TiE Atlanta and ATDC hosted the virtual event.
