The Atlanta Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) held their annual competition for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA). This year, GSEA was once again formatted as a Livestream pitch competition where six finalists from universities across the country competed for a chance to win cash prizes and move onto the Global Finals later this year. The Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) has announced that the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) at Georgia State University has won the 2020 Award for Excellence in Specialty Entrepreneurship Education. The award was presented virtually at the GCEC annual conference on October 30.
More than 300 qualified student entrepreneurs from 151 campuses applied for their chance at $15,000 in seed funding. CEO has selected a total of 110 ventures across 75 campuses to compete. Among the competitors, are three Georgia State student founders. Learn who they are.
