Lee Cantor host of GSU ENI Radio sat down with, Assistant Dean Jason Aldrich of Robinson’s Career Advancement and Strategic Partnerships to discuss how they are helping undergraduate and graduate students navigate the job market in these unprecedented times.
ENI had the opportunity to interview Daniel Hadgu, a senior at Georgia State who’s on track to graduate in December 2020. He is a Finance major and has made it his priority to be a dedicated, forward-thinking student and leader, as he is a first-generation college student along with being an entrepreneur. He is currently interning at Valor Ventures, a venture capital fund headquartered in Atlanta.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Entrepreneurship, Kiara Henry is both a creative story teller and entrepreneur. For the past year, she has served as President of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) for Georgia State campus, providing students access to entrepreneurial resources and opportunities while coordinating workshops and speaker series.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship, Sharee Stephen completed an internship with ESPN as a Student Ambassador. She also launched two successful businesses including integrated communications company Sharegenius and cosmetic line voilaMama Cosmetics.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute in collaboration with Business RadioX, launched an on-campus radio show which features Georgia State faculty, staff, students and alumni stories showcasing Georgia State’s impact on Atlanta’s business community.
It was a spur of the moment switch. My advisor brought up the program to me. At the time, I was a Computer Information Systems (CIS) major, and after taking my first computer programming class, I quickly realized that wasn’t for me. That’s when she shared the option of the Entrepreneurship Major with me that had just become available.
