When best friends started to brainstorming ideas for an outreach and mentorship program to help young girls from their Henry County High School – they never knew it would actually come to life. By 2018, they had established their organization as HighlighHER and today they now have over 50 mentors and partnerships with several Henry County high schools.

It is a single semester program where a company belonging to a student or student team gains guidance and support from local mentors. Here they can interact and ask questions of experienced entrepreneurs and develop their business ideas with a mentor’s help.
