Perry Binder, J.D., Clinical Associate Professor of Legal Studies recently published an article in The Journal of Business Law and Ethics Pedagogy. The article entitled Entrepreneurs with No Garage details a team project from one of his courses.
The competition is split into two sections: a qualifying round and a final round. Out of the 22 businesses competing, three Georgia State students and alumni businesses Aurign, EcoDrop, and Oshun Pay placed within the top nine pitches at the TYE-U competition and accelerated to the Final Round. Due to stay-at-home orders, the final round was hosted virtually on April 18th.
Ten Main Street Entrepreneurs Seed Fund alumni have been accepted into WeWork Labs Atlanta’s initiative. These entrepreneurs will now have access to three months of accountability through weekly standups, a dedicated mentor, and exclusive invitations to WeWork Labs and Lab partner events.
Pending Publication in July 2020, the “Teaching Strategic Management” Textbook will feature a chapter entitled, “Teaching Strategic Management for Media Students”, authored by Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute Clinical Assistant Professor, Geoffrey Graybeal, Ph.D.
With a firm mission in mind, READI Consulting was launched in 2019 to address multigenerational literacy through the lens of workforce readiness. This meant providing tailored services to various educational institutions to enable them to better engage with their under-educated, underemployed workers.

Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, the semi-annual Georgia University Entrepreneurship Initiative (GUEI) was hosted virtually on April 22, 2020. A committee consisting of educators, administrators and entrepreneurial ecosystem builders representing Georgia State University, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Morehouse University, University of Georgia, Startup Atlanta, TiE Atlanta and ATDC hosted the virtual event.
